Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the City council of the city of

, that the Mayor shall be allowed a salary per annum of one hundred dollars and that the Aldermen and Councillors shall receive each one dollar per day while in session. Also fine for absence one dollar per day.
Sec. 2. This ordinance to be in force from and after its passage, any other ordinance to the contrary notwithstaning.
Passed August 10th 1844.
