Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4 May 1840, in Philadelphia. Appointed clerk of Philadelphia branch, 18 Oct. 1840. Appointed counselor to Bishop Jacob Syfritt in Philadelphia branch, 6 Apr. 1841. Ordained an elder, by Oct. 1841. Married Adelaide Broadnix, 5 Oct. 1841, in Philadelphia. Died in Philadelphia.
