10 Mar. 1808–22 Mar. 1857. Physician, farmer. Born in Granger, Allegany Co., New York. Married Almena Thompson. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by July 1836. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, by July 1836. Received elder’s certificate, 21 July 1836, in Kirtland. Stockholder in Kirtland Safety Society. Moved to Rockport, Caldwell Co., Missouri, by 1840; to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, by 1842; and to Centerville, Allegany Co., by 1843. Served as president of church conference in Batavia, Genesee Co., New York, 2 Mar. 1844. Died in Centerville.
