Whereas at a Court of Probate holden in and for said at of the fifth day of September A.D. 1844 James Lawrence and Nelson Lawrence minors above the age of fourteen years. came into Court and chose you the said for their Guardian, and whereas it has been represented to us that Henry William Lawrence Julia Ann Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence minor heirs of late of the County of and State of Illinois deceased are without legal Guardian. we do hereby appoint you the said Guardian of the said James Lawrence Nelson Lawrence, Henry William Lawrence Julia Ann Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence persons and property until they shall become of lawful age.
