Greeting you are here by commanded to summons John Taylor Wyatt Cravins John Caroll and <and Nehemiah Odell & Zadoc Martin and > that all excuses and Delays set a side they be and appeare before Judge of our Circuit Court on monday at ten oclock it being the 12th Day of November 1838 to testify the truth of there knowledge touching a certain matter in controversy before the said Depending between the State of plantiff and Joseph Smith and others Defendant on the part of the plantiff hereof fail not at your peril and have you then and there this writ Witness my hand and Seal this 10th Day of November 1838
