Biography
24 June 1789–1 Jan. 1872. Miller, farmer. Born in Rockingham, Windham Co., Vermont. Son of John Pulsipher and Elizabeth Dutton. Married first Polley Randall, 6 Nov. 1810, in Rockingham. Wife died, ca. 1811. Moved to Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, ca. 1814. Married second Mary Brown, ca. 1815, in Pennsylvania. Living in Choconut, Susquehanna Co., 1820. Moved to Onondaga Co., New York, ca. 1822. Moved to Spafford, Onondaga Co., by 1830. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and ordained an elder, Jan. 1832, in New York. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, spring 1835. Served mission to Upper Canada, 1837. Moved to Missouri, 1838; to Bear Creek, Hancock Co., Illinois, Mar. 1839; to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., ca. 1841; and to Winter Quarters, unorganized U.S. territory (later in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska), 1846. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley, 1847. Moved to Santa Clara, Washington Co., Utah Territory, by 1870. Died in Hebron, Washington Co.
